Plinth Medical is an SME and leading UK manufacturer of examination & treatment couches, patient handling equipment and seating solutions with more than 25 years’ experience in the healthcare market. In the early days, the company focussed on developing products for the UK physiotherapy and rehabilitation markets but has long since expanded its offering to include solutions required by busy outpatient departments.
Our product portfolio addresses the requirements of departments including Gynaecology, Oncology, Dialysis, Podiatry, Lymphedema, Leg Ulcer Treatment, Cardiology, Scanning and Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation. The products and solutions are in use in both government & private hospitals, clinics, and GP surgeries.
The company now employs approximately 60 staff with about one third of sales coming from exports with a strong focus on Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
