For over 160 years the Howorth name has been synonymous with providing air filtration. Since our development of the Ultra Clean Ventilation system in the 1960’s, we have been more closely associated with providing clean air to operating theatres and other critical care areas in hospitals.

Today, sales of our Exflow screenless UCV canopy system to both UK and overseas customers remain strong, but we now offer an even broader range of complementary operating theatre and ITU equipment including operating lights, medical service pendants and digital workflow solutions.

Over the past 30+ years, Howorth has also established a reputation for turnkey projects. Not only do we supply a full range of theatre equipment but co-ordinate and manage all the construction and installation, plus fitting out and commissioning, to deliver a fully functioning medical facility ready for use.
